About Honey Wagon Services

Forty years on the same routes. Same family, same trucks, same answer when you call. We pump septic tanks, portable toilets, grease traps, and RV waste across Rock Hill, SC and York County.

The story

A family trade business, run the old way.

Honey Wagon Services has been pumping septic tanks and portable toilets in York County since the 1980s. Four decades, one family, one trade. We did not start in a marketing office. We started with one truck and the phone number we still answer today.

A honey wagon is the industry name for the vacuum truck that pumps septic tanks and portable toilets. We have run honey wagons longer than most of our customers have owned their houses. That kind of mileage shows up in the work.

Most of our calls come from people who have used us before, or from neighbors of people who have used us before. That is the business we want. The kind where the work speaks for itself.

Where we are based

Rock Hill, SC.

Our truck is kept and dispatched from our yard at 1870 W Baskins Rd in Rock Hill. It is not a fancy office. It is a yard where the truck gets washed down, refueled, and sent back out.

Most of our routes stay inside a 30-minute drive of the yard. That covers Rock Hill, Fort Mill, York, Clover, and Lake Wylie. When you call, the truck is usually closer than you think.

What we believe

Four rules. We do not break them.

01

Same-day callbacks

Leave a message and you hear back the same day. That has been the rule for 40 years and it is not changing.

02

Transparent pricing

We quote the job on the phone. The price you hear is the price on the invoice. No hidden trip charges, no surprise fees once the lid is off.

03

Do the work right the first time

We pump the tank all the way down, scrape the walls when it needs it, and check what is going on inside. If something is wrong, we tell you straight.

04

Leave the site cleaner than we found it

Lid back on, ground raked, no smell, no mess. Whether it is a homeowner's backyard or a 200-unit job site, the rule is the same.

License and disposal

Permitted, logged, and paperwork on file.

We are licensed to pump and haul septage in South Carolina under the rules set by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC). Every load we pull off your property has to go somewhere legal, and we keep the paperwork to prove it did.

Every load is dumped at a permitted treatment facility. Routes are GPS-logged, so if anyone ever asks where a load went, we can pull the record. That matters most for restaurant grease traps and commercial work, but we keep the same record on residential septic too.

If you are a property manager or a GC who needs disposal documentation for a project file, just ask. We will email you the manifests for any job we run.
